Great!
This is the only audiophile app Ive tried that is worth having on the ipad. The interface is simple, fairly attractive, and makes managing files easy. Files can be transferred either wirelessly or through iTunes with a usb cable; transferring wirelessly is preferred as it will allow you to keep folders and the whole file structure intact. Doesnt have a huge number of extra features that you will never use, and it does what it advertises to do---play music--- exceptionally well unlike many of the feature rich apps. There is no equalizer, but who cares?
Ive used a few other "audiophile" apps, and I like Goldenear the most. Flac player is nice, but is only able to play FLAC, which makes it unusable for me. Caprico has the worst interface Ive ever seen, is prone to crashing, and the volume does not get loud enough. Tuneshell is made for the iPhone and not the iPad. Equalizer pro is no longer in development.
Caprico does handle album art better but that is a minor point.
